The Huawei Pura 80 series is now official in Malaysia. It comes in two model options, namely the Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Ultra. Both are equipped with attractive specifications in their own class and target users who value camera performance and premium design.
The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra is the most premium model in this series. It comes with a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2848 × 1276 pixels. This is paired with the Kirin 9020 chip along with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It also uses EMUI 15 which offers various AI-based features such as AI Remove, AI Gensture Control, AI Messaging, AI Translation, Interactive Theme (Emoji Crush), AI Noise Cancellation and others.
The device is equipped with a rear camera system that includes a 50MP 1″ wide-angle main lens with a variable aperture of f/1.6 to f/4.0 with OIS. Also included is a 40MP ultra-wide lens, a periscope telephoto with 50MP and 12.5MP respectively, and a 1.5MP spectrum. Interestingly, both periscope telephoto lenses share the same sensor and support 3.7X and 9.4X optical zoom while digital zoom is up to 100X. The front camera uses a 13MP sensor for selfies.
The device also comes with a 5170mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. In addition, it is equipped with additional features such as NFC, IP68/IP69 waterproofing, side fingerprint scanner and infrared for smoother device control in daily use.
