Perplexity, one of the providers of artificial intelligence-based services, has now officially introduced their Comet web browser. However, to use it, users need to have a Perplexity Max subscription for now, with access to it being opened more widely in the coming months.
Comet comes with assistant integration, which can do a number of things based on user needs – including planning trips, summarizing info, formulating ideas, drafting emails, making appointments, and so on. With this move, it is seen to be able to increase users' productivity better than using other web browsers.
In addition to Perplexity, OpenAI is also said to be developing their web browser, while several other providers also offer web browsers with artificial intelligence integration.
