The RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet gaming tablet was launched yesterday with a 9.06″ LTPO OLED screen that supports a 165Hz refresh rate. It is paired with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage and an 8200 mAh battery. This large battery can be recharged using an 80W charger.
The main camera on the back is 13MP and the front is a 9MP camera. Because it is a gaming tablet, the Astra comes with a 13-layer ICE-X cooling system and has a built-in cooling fan that can rotate at a speed of 20,000 RPM.
Other additional features are haptic support and DTS:X Ultra audio system. The operating system used is Redmagic OS 10.5 based on Android 15. If the tablet is like what has been seen before, it is the same as the Gaming Tablet 3 Pro which was launched last month only for the global market. RedMagic confirmed that this tablet will enter the Malaysian market.
The selling price of this tablet is $499 (~RM 2105) for the 12/256GB model, $649 (~RM 2738) for the 24/1000 GB model and $849 (~RM 3582) for the 24/1000GB model.
