TNG Digital is now collaborating with Kakitangan.com to facilitate salary payments directly to employees' TNG eWallets, including those who do not have bank accounts. Through the DuitNow Bulk Transfer feature, employers can channel salaries directly from any banking system to employees' eWallets quickly and securely.
Each TNG eWallet user will be given their own DuitNow account number, making their eWallets function like regular bank accounts. Through this number, salaries can be channeled directly to employees' eWallets without the need for regular bank accounts. This initiative is very beneficial for migrant workers and individuals who face difficulties opening bank accounts. With the eWallet, they can directly access their salaries, thus managing daily expenses, saving money and making digital transactions more easily.
This collaboration is expected to benefit more than 10,000 companies in Malaysia. It allows the payroll process to be streamlined more efficiently while complying with existing regulations. This initiative also helps reduce manual work in human resource management, thus increasing employee satisfaction with the company. More importantly, this initiative has been recognized by the Department of Manpower Peninsular Malaysia (JTKSM) as a legal method for salary payment.
Employees who receive their salaries via TNG eWallet can also manage their daily finances more easily. They can make payments using DuitNow QR, send money to family, and withdraw cash via their linked Visa Touch ‘n Go card. This convenience allows users, especially those without bank accounts, to manage their own finances with more confidence.
