ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X to be Launched in Malaysia on October 16



The wait to own the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X will end on October 16 with their launch on that date. Microsoft says the portable console will be launched in Malaysia on the same date as in the United States, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe before also being offered in markets where the ROG Ally was previously sold such as Indonesia and Thailand.


The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally features a 7″ FHD 120Hz screen with FreeSync Premium support, is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 A chip, 16GB LPDDR5X-6400RAM, 512GB M.2 2280 SSD storage, and a 60Wh battery. There are 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort 2.1, a UHS-II microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The SSD storage is user-replaceable.


ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X is equipped with a 7″ FHD 120Hz screen with FreeSync Premium support, powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme chip, 24GB LPDDR5X-8000 RAM, 1TB M.2 2280 SSD storage and an 80Wh battery. There is 1x USB-Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DP 2.1, a UHS-II microSD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack. The SSD storage can also be replaced by users.


Although the sale date has been announced, the price has not yet been announced by Microsoft. Speculation says that the price will only be announced after China and the United States agree on new tariff rates which have not yet been finalized.
