The government is ready to announce the special Basic Rahmah Contribution (SARA) offering involving all those above 18 years of age (born in 2007 and before), amounting to RM100 previously. In parallel, the SARA system has now been updated, and recipients can check their eligibility via the SARA platform starting today.
The Ministry of Finance stated that 22 million citizens with MyKAD will receive this appreciation assistance of RM100. It will be distributed starting August 31, 2025 and can be used until December 31, 2025.
No registration or application is required to receive this appreciation assistance. Users will receive it automatically. However, in checking it, you can go to the SARA website today, and check the status.
Along with checking the status, you can also see nearby stores where you can buy goods using the balance. As announced, the credit will be included effective August 31, 2025.
