ChatGPT Will Introduce Parental Control Features Soon

OpenAI has been sued because ChatGPT allegedly helped a 16-year-old commit suicide in the United States. Following this incident, OpenAI introduced several improvements to ChatGPT so that it no longer gives dangerous answers, cannot be intercepted to give dangerous answers and uses human moderators to contact authorities who are at risk of suicide.

In addition to the improvements above, OpenAI also promises that they will offer a feature that allows parents and guardians to control the use of ChatGPT by minor users. This feature will be offered in the near future.

Also included in the future is the addition of an emergency number that can be called in dangerous situations. For example, if suicidal intent is detected, this number will be called to provide immediate help before it is too late.

Originally, chatbots like ChatGPT were developed to help find information before in a short time they became a quick tool in producing papers in classes and interviews, generating images quickly and being able to replace human tasks in the workplace. More serious negative impacts are beginning to be detected, such as providing medical advice that is far from ideal and creating people who are easier to have romantic relationships with than humans.
