Microsoft AI (MAI) has launched its latest artificial intelligence model MAI-Voice-1 which can generate 1 minute of audio in just 1 second using just 1 GPU. It has already been used by Microsoft in the Copilot Daily and Podcasts features and is available for user testing through Copilot Labs today.
According to Microsoft, due to its extremely fast processing capabilities, MAI-Voice-1 is the most efficient conversation generation system ever created. Users can generate bedtime stories in audio form by just entering a few prompts.
The features that MAI-Voice-1 can do are the same as those that Gemini and ChatGPT can do. What makes it interesting is the speed at which audio can be generated.
