HTC Introduces AI Smart Glasses – Vive Eagle, Offered in Taiwan



HTC, one of the popular brands once upon a time, has already shifted its focus to offering virtual reality devices. Now, apart from the virtual reality set, HTC is also coming up with a new offering, namely a smart glass, called the HTC Vive Eagle.


The main core of these smart glasses is the integration of artificial intelligence, and can do a number of things with the command “Hey VIVE”. Among the examples given are being able to ask questions, get the latest news, do translations, suggest recipes, take pictures, and so on. Everything can be controlled using voice commands.


Interestingly, it also comes with memory support, allowing it to collect data such as faces and names, parking locations and others.


HTC stated that these smart glasses will be offered in Taiwan starting September 1, 2025. It comes in two size variations, namely M and L, and these smart glasses operate by integrating with smartphones. HTC says the smart glasses can be used for 4.5 hours with continuous music playback, or 36 hours of standby time. They can also be charged from 0% to 50% in just 10 minutes.
