MediaTek is expected to offer its latest flagship chip, the Dimensity 9500, which comes with significant improvements in graphics performance and energy efficiency. Based on preliminary information, the chip uses a new generation GPU that offers more than 40% energy efficiency compared to the previous generation.
More interestingly, ray tracing performance has also increased by more than 40%, allowing rendering to run at frame rates exceeding 100FPS. This is believed to be a new benchmark in the rendering world, providing a more realistic and smooth visual experience.
The Dimensity 9500 is expected to be built based on 3nm technology, which also combines high performance and energy efficiency for flagship smartphones. Its launch is expected to take place before the introduction of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip.
