Spotify is coming with a new feature for Premium users that allows them to add and change the way songs are connected in playlists. This feature is still in the testing phase and allows users to create a more interesting and organized listening experience.
Users can select an existing playlist or create a new one, then activate the song transition feature by pressing the “Mix” button.
There is an automatic option for instant mixing or users can customize transition styles such as “Fade” and “Rise” according to their own taste.
In addition, settings such as volume, equalizer (EQ) and audio effects can also be adjusted so that each connection between songs sounds more interesting.
Spotify also helps new users understand how to mix songs more easily. Among the guides provided are matching the tempo and key of the song so that the transition sounds more natural.
Several genres such as House and Techno are encouraged because they are more suitable for smooth song transitions. The order of songs can also be planned according to the appropriate level.
Users can also create playlist views using special stickers and labels provided. Modified playlists can also be shared or edited with friends who are also Premium users.
