WhatsApp has launched a new feature called Writing Help, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to help users write messages. This feature allows users to choose a writing style such as professional, supportive or humorous. It reminds us of the writing help feature that is currently available on Samsung, Apple and Oppo devices.
The feature is activated by pressing the pencil icon with a small star. Type what you want to write in the WhatsApp dialog box. Writing Help powered by Meta AI will then rewrite this essay in the three writing styles mentioned above.
To ensure user privacy, Private Processing technology is used and what is written will not be read by Meta. This feature has been launched in English in the United States and several other countries with support for other languages and countries to follow by the end of 2025.
