Apple has now started offering the iOS 26 operating system update to all users around the world, offering a number of new features with it. iOS 26 is offered to those using the iPhone 11 and later, or the iPhone SE2 and later.
The main focus of this update is the Liquid Glass interface that comes with it, offering a major interface update compared to before. It provides special effects and effects like on glass. It is seen that a number of elements are also present from VisionOS, which is Apple's operating system for their headsets.
iOS 26 also includes a call screening feature, requiring unknown callers to provide their name and purpose of the call, before your iPhone rings. The Messages app has also been improved with offerings like other messaging apps, including the ability to change the background image of the messaging.
Apple has placed less emphasis on offering artificial intelligence integration this year, possibly not wanting to repeat the promises of Apple Intelligence and Siri that have not yet been fulfilled.
For those of you who use an iPhone, you can start the update process by going to Settings > General > Software Update today.
