ASUS is a computer technology brand known for its various offerings of premium-class gaming and productivity computers and devices. ASUS ProArt is a sub-brand introduced for those in the creative or content creation industry who want devices, accessories and components that are not only more elegant, but also perform great.
With the launch of various premium gaming laptops that have been shown recently, it is the turn of the ASUS ProArt P16 laptop to show off new component updates, especially the graphics card offerings.
The ASUS ProArt P16 comes with a 16-inch OLED screen display with 4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate with a brightness value of 1600 nits for the purpose of processing and editing HDR content. It also comes with a 16:10 display ratio to give it a taller design.
This laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor with 64GB of LPDDR5 memory support and 4TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage to allow users to not only install as much software as they need, but also to store as much data as possible for their work purposes.
In terms of graphics cards, the ASUS ProArt P16 is equipped with a choice of graphics cards up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, but for the Malaysian market, we have seen that it is equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 option only.
In the meantime, it is also equipped with the latest USB4 Type-C plug, USB 3.2 Type-C and Type-A plugs, along with HDMI 2.1 and an SD Express 7.0 card reader, along with support for WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless connections.
This updated ASUS ProArt P16 laptop seems to have been listed for the local market at a price of RM12,999, but at the moment it is not known when it will go on sale. Looking at the press release issued for the US market, it will be introduced around October, so it may be launched soon for Malaysia as well.
