ASUS Malaysia will launch the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X locally on October 3. The selling price is still a mystery but in the United States, Canada, Europe, UK and Australia pre-orders are open. The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally is sold for $599 (~RM 2533) while the ROG Xbox Ally is priced at $999 (~RM 4217) each.
The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally is equipped with a 7″ FHD 120Hz screen with FreeSync Premium support, is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 A chip, 16GB LPDDR5X-6400RAM memory, 512GB M.2 2280 SSD storage and a 60Wh battery. There are 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort 2.1, a UHS-II microSD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack. The SSD storage is user-replaceable.
The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X is equipped with a 7″ FHD 120Hz screen with FreeSync Premium support, powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme chip, 24GB LPDDR5X-8000 RAM, 1TB M.2 2280 SSD storage and an 80Wh battery. There is 1x USB-Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DP 2.1, a UHS-II microSD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack. The SSD storage can also be replaced by the user.
