Last week was a busy week for IFA Berlin. Many products were launched and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen) was no exception as it finally supports audio connection via USB-C cable. Until now, the only cable connection that could be done was via a 2.5mm cable connection.
The design is still the same as the first generation launched two years ago but changes have been made to the audio system such as Cinema Mode with wider audio staging and clearer conversations. ANC has been improved to muffle noise while Aware Mode will sound more natural.
The battery is now up to 30 hours with ANC and 40 hours without ANC. A big increase compared to only 18/24 hours on the first generation. Wireless connectivity is Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC, AAC and Qualcomm AptX Adaptive codecs.
The Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen) will be sold starting October at a price of $450 (~RM 1900) in Black, Midnight Violet, Driftwood Sand, and White
