DJI was previously better known as a manufacturer of drones, then mini microphones and now a manufacturer of quite powerful mini cameras. Yesterday they launched the DJI Osmo Nano which is a lightweight dwarf camera but can record video up to 4K 120FPS.
It consists of a camera that is only 52grams in size and is equipped with a 1/1.3″ CMOS sensor paired with a 143° wide-angle lens. The camera part exceeds the standard and can be taken diving up to a depth of 10 meters.
In addition to 120FPS slow-motion recording, the camera also supports 4K 60PFS recording in 10-bit and D-Log M mode options. Like other DJI cameras, the RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonBalancing features are also included built-in. There is also vertical video recording for social media content such as TikTok.
Each camera is offered with a storage option of 64GB or 128GB with it being expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card. The 520mAh battery can offer up to 90 minutes of video recording in FHD mode and increases to 200 minutes when attached to the dock which has an additional 1300mAh battery.
The dock weighs 72g with a 1.96″ LCD screen that allows for remote monitoring of footage and also functions as a remote control. The dock also serves as a wireless file transfer hub. Unlike the camera, the dock only passes the IPX4 standard. DJI offers a special hat mount and a clip on clothes for action video recording.
The DJI Osmo Nano is priced at RM 1229 for the 65GB model and RM 1409 for the 128GB model.
