Dyson launched the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai robot vacuum and mop that can not only empty its own dustbin but also has a laser system. It was launched during the Dyson Unveiled event in Berlin.
Spot+Scrub Ai has a green laser system that detects the presence of debris and dirt on the floor. This helps the camera system see it more clearly. This laser light system is the same as that used in their previous cordless vacuum cleaners.
With an artificial intelligence recognition system, Spot+Scrub Ai can know whether to use vacuum or mop mode. Photos of the floor surface will be taken before and after cleaning. If dirt is still detected, Spot+Scrub Ai will repeat the cleaning process.
Like other Dyson products, debris is stored in a bin that is then automatically cleaned on a dock that doubles as a charging station. The water tank can also be filled on the same dock. Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai will be sold in Australia and the UK in early 2026 but the price has not been announced.
