Honor Malaysia has confirmed that the latest Honor X9d model will be entering the local market in the near future. Although the official launch date has not yet been announced, this device is expected to be the successor to the previously popular X-series rugged phones.
In terms of design, this new model maintains the X-series design identity but stands out more with new color options including dark red. The back of the device resembles a faux leather finish similar to that used on the previous Honor X9b model. It is also equipped with a round camera bump surrounded by a golden circle and a flat body of the device.
Interestingly, the Honor X9d was unofficially shown in the local film Legasi: Bomba starring Ben Ali at the end of the film. This adds a unique early promotional element to this device. So far, there is no official information about the internal specifications of the device.
However, based on the previous X-series track record, the Honor X9d has the potential to come with a solid display, a stronger frame and a long-lasting battery suitable for active daily use. More information is expected to be revealed in the near future.
