Mozilla is now introducing an update for Firefox users on iOS, adding a feature called “Shake to Summarize”. This feature is being introduced in stages starting in the United States for now.
Through this update, if you are using an iPhone 15 Pro or later, and running iOS 26 and later, you can open any website, and then shake the device, and it will then summarize the article.
Mozilla uses the support of Apple Intelligence in offering this feature, and says that data transmission is done confidentially to Mozilla’s cloud-based AI service.
At this time, it is not known when this feature will be expanded to Malaysian users.
