Apple AirPods Pro 3 Priced at RM999 – Comes with Heart Rate Sensor, Real-Time Translation

Apple today updated its wireless earphones with the introduction of AirPods Pro 3. As usual, it comes with active noise cancellation (ANC) support, allowing users to focus on the audio being heard through it.

Apple says the new ANC feature allows it to reduce 2x more noise than the previous generation. In addition, the design has been slightly updated to provide comfort when doing fitness activities and exercising.

AirPods Pro 3 also comes with a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor that can emit infrared light at a rate of 256 times per second, while assessing the rate of light absorption in the bloodstream. This allows it to estimate the user's heart rate, especially during activity.

Apple also says that through the integration of Apple Intelligence, it also provides access to "Workout Buddy", providing new experiences to users based on fitness data and activities being done. This also provides access to additional data and metrics in real time to Apple Fitness+ users.

In addition, AirPods Pro 3 users can also enable the “Live Translation” feature and enjoy real-time translation support when communicating with others who speak different languages. This also works better with ANC integration, allowing users to focus on the real-time translation voice. This feature supports English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Apple AirPods Pro 3 will be offered to Malaysian users in the near future, priced at RM999.
