As every September, today Apple has introduced the latest series of their iPhone family. The most basic version model below is the iPhone 17. The iPhone 17 comes with a number of updates and upgrades in terms of specifications, while at the same time maintaining the iconic iPhone design.
The iPhone 17 comes with a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR screen with ProMotion support, allowing users to enjoy clearer and brighter graphics and content through it. This is also better through the support of Apple's latest chip, the Apple A19 with a 3nm-based build.
The iPhone 17 now comes with a basic storage of 256GB, in addition to including a 48-megapixel dual rear camera that also supports 2x telephoto. Apple also includes a front camera with Center Stage support, providing a good experience when making video calls with a focus on the user. The Center Stage camera allows iPhone 17 users to capture photos up to 18MP resolution, and 4K HDR video recording using the front and rear cameras simultaneously via Dual Capture.
The iPhone 17 also includes Apple's own wireless networking chip, called N1 – which will be used for WiFI7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread. Powering this smartphone is Apple's latest operating system iOS 26 which comes with a Liquid Glass design.
Users in Malaysia can pre-order starting September 12, 2025, and it will go on sale starting September 19, 2025. It will be sold at a starting price of RM3999 for the 256GB model.
