Sony recently introduced a dedicated application for their PlayStation 5 video game console, the PlayStation Family App, which makes it easier for parents to control various types of their children's gaming.
Through this application, they can set various existing child control settings such as the number of games per day, game time and even the game genres allowed to be played on their accounts directly from this application.
Technically, parental controls have already been introduced for children's PlayStation accounts, but with this application, these control settings can be done directly from their smart devices, and no longer require them to access them through the console.
What's more interesting is that apart from the settings, it can also send you information about console usage in real time, so you can see what games your children are playing, how long they are playing, and also grant or deny extension of playing time.
This application has started to be offered through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and is now available for download.
