Realme has now confirmed the presence of the GT 8 Pro model in the Malaysian market but the official launch date has not yet been revealed. This device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 5 chip which makes it one of the most powerful Android phones to date. Realme also stated that the GT 8 Pro may be the first device in Malaysia to use the chip just like its predecessor last year.
The GT 8 Pro will be equipped with the Hyper Vision+ AI chip and GT BOOST 3.0 technology to support smoother gaming performance. Realme says that this device can run two heavy games such as PUBG and Genshin Impact simultaneously at high frame rates for an hour. However, the full specifications have not been revealed yet.
However, the Vice President of realme has shared that the device will be equipped with a 2K resolution screen and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. The GT 8 Pro is also expected to come with a more prominent design with a redesigned camera bump.
In other developments, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip was also officially introduced today with improved improvements through the use of the Oryon Gen 3 CPU and Unreal Engine 5 support.
