Following the government's announcement earlier this week, a special page has now been set up to make it easier for users to check whether or not you are eligible to receive the Budi Madani RON95 petrol subsidy. Under this program, eligible Malaysians can enjoy RON95 petrol at a price of RM1.99 per litre.
To check, you only need to go to the official Budi Madani RON95 page, and then enter your identity card number. It will then display whether you are eligible or not.
If eligible, you can then verify with your MyKad at the petrol station and make payment when refueling, and enjoy the subsidized price of RM1.99 per litre for RON95 petrol. Alternatively, you can also make payments using Touch n Go eWallet, Setel at Petronas and CaltexGo at Caltex.
