TikTok has now announced that, effective September 13, 2025, they will update the commission charges for sellers on TikTok Shop and TikTok Shop Mall, where the charges will be increased compared to the current one.
Through the increase in the new commission charge, it reaches up to 15.66% for TikTok Shop, and up to 18.90% for TikTok Shop Mall. This is expected to have an impact on the calculation of profits or operations by merchants, especially merchants who sell goods with small profit margins.
TikTok also said that they will provide some exceptions to sellers who participate in the BXP (Benefit Extra Program), where they will receive additional support including in terms of discounts, vouchers, cashback and also access to the platform. However, those who participate in the BXP program will be charged a service charge of 4.5%.
For sellers on TikTok, you can review these new changes, and re-strategize in selling goods using the social platform.
