Telekom Malaysia today officially introduced Unifi TV 2.0, opening up access to the streaming service to all users worldwide, and not just Unifi customers as before.
What's interesting about Unifi TV is that it is not limited to the content offered by them, but also integrates 15 streaming services into it, making it easier for you to manage your subscriptions and also watch your favorite shows.
Among the integrated streaming services are Disney+ Hotstar, HBO Max, Viu, SPOTV, and beIN Sports and many more. In conjunction with this launch, Unifi TV is offering 30 days of free access to everyone, including for the streaming application in Unifi TV. Users can also access several channels directly using Unifi TV.
In terms of price, Unifi TV access with 36 channels is offered at RM8 per month. Meanwhile, along with apps like HBO Max, it is offered at a price of RM21 per month, and increases according to user choice.
From our own testing, the Unifi TV app does not include access to subscriptions and the like, and users have to do it via the web, as well as through several steps that are still not smooth at the moment. This may be improved in future updates.
For those of you who are interested, you can visit the UnifiTV site today, or download Unifi TV 2.0 via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store today.
