Pre-orders for the Ricoh GR IV were open in Malaysia from 2 to 11 September and yesterday it was finally officially launched. This compact digital camera is equipped with a 25.7 MP APS-C BSI CMOS sensor and a 28mm f/2.8 fixed lens that is suitable for everyday use and street photography.
It supports a hybrid autofocus system and 5-axis image stabilization to ensure that images remain sharp. The camera also offers 53GB of built-in storage and a microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC memory card slot with UHS-I standards.
The Ricoh GR IV supports photo recording in RAW and JPEG formats, while video recording can be done in 1080P/60FPS resolution. It is equipped with a 3″ LCD touchscreen that uses scratch-resistant glass and offers a wide viewing angle.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity also make it easy to transfer files and control the camera remotely. In addition, the camera can also be used as a webcam via a USB-C connection that supports DisplayPort.
The Ricoh GR IV is capable of shooting around 250 photos and playing back 240 minutes of video on a full battery. Weighing just 262 grams including battery and memory card, this camera is perfect for those who want high-quality images in a portable design.
In Malaysia, the Ricoh GR IV is priced at RM5999 each.
