World's First 2nm Chip Exynos 2600 Now Ready for Production

Samsung is reportedly ready to start mass production of the world's first 2nm chip Exynos 2600. The Exynos 2600 chip will be used in the Galaxy S26 series which will be launched around January 2026. Testing is underway with leaked benchmark scores showing it is more powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The throne of the first 2nm chip is confirmed after the Apple A19 chip remains using TSMC's 3nm technology. In addition to being more powerful and technologically advanced, the Exynos 2600 also comes with built-in cooling system technology. With this, the heating issue can be solved and there is no need for a more complex cooling system.

There are rumors that Samsung will only use the Eyxnos chip on their flagship phones in just a few years. But Exynos still has a reputation that is not as good as Snapdragon chips, especially in terms of heat management and processing power.

A few years ago, Samsung devices in Malaysia were only offered with the Exynos chip, which received negative reactions. Next year's Galaxy S26 is believed to be offered with two different chips, with the Ultra version still featuring a Snapdragon chip.
