Apple is predicted to launch a new Macbook with the Apple M5 chip according to a Bloomberg report. Along with it, a new iPad with the same chip will also appear and this tablet has already been fully leaked in Russia. This morning Greg Joswiak, Apple's vice president of marketing, uploaded the video below confirming that the launch of both products is now approaching.
A partially open Macbook computer is clearly visible. It forms the alphabet V which is also the number 5 in Roman numerals. The video does not yet reveal any changes to the design but it is expected that it will not be much different from its MacBook Air and MacBook Pro counterparts which have remained the same for the past three years.
In addition to the increase in processing power, the Apple M5 chip is expected to be able to provide more power savings compared to the Apple M4. Unlike in PCs, Apple has not yet fully plunged into the era of artificial intelligence (AI) after issues in the development of Apple Intelligence since a year ago. When this launch event will be held is still a mystery but what is certain is that it will be soon.
