Apple today announced that it will rebrand its streaming service from Apple TV+ to just Apple TV. The main reason behind this branding was not disclosed by Apple.
Previously, Apple introduced the Apple TV+ streaming service in 2019. Through it, it offers a number of exclusive content published specifically for the streaming platform.
For now, this branding may be a little confusing, since Apple is ready to offer hardware with the same name, namely Apple TV which can be connected to a television screen. With this branding, it is not yet known what the impact will be and how Apple will differentiate these two offerings.
In Malaysia, the Apple TV streaming service is offered at a price of RM29.90 per month.
