Facebook has now announced that they will end the “Gaming Creator Program” on the social media by 2026. Support for the group is also expected to be discontinued effective October 31, 2025.
Previously, Facebook introduced the Gaming Creator Program in 2018, encouraging content publishers focusing on video game content to receive a number of additional access, including help in generating and increasing revenue through streaming. However, recently Facebook has begun to pay less attention to game streaming, and now the program has also been terminated.
Through a notice on the help page, Facebook informed those who participated in the Gaming Creator Program can check out several other methods of generating revenue on Facebook – like other content publishers, without Facebook’s specific focus on this arena. The social media giant has been seen focusing more on the vertical video arena through Reels lately.
