1 Utama shopping mall is now introducing a License Plate Recognition (LPR) system that allows all users to enter and exit the parking area without the need for a physical ticket.
This initiative is in line with 1 Utama’s ongoing efforts towards paperless usage. Previously, this LPR facility was only offered to ONECARD cardholders. Now, the system is open to all users, providing a more efficient parking experience.
For ONECARD cardholders, vehicle registration can be done via the 1 Utama SuperApp mobile application.
Among the benefits offered include registering up to two vehicles per account, parking charges automatically deducted from the 1PAY digital wallet, as well as exclusive access to ONECARD Preferred Parking (OPP) and ONECARD Express Parking (OEP) areas.
Once the system is activated, parking credits and 1PAY balances will be combined and the physical ONECARD card can no longer be used for parking purposes. There is no minimum balance required upon entry. This registration is final and cannot be cancelled.
For users who are not ONECARD cardholders, parking payments can be made digitally at Autopay stations or by scanning the QR code provided.
This process involves entering the vehicle license plate number without spaces, selecting the displayed license plate image, confirming the parking information and making payment using a debit or credit card.
