The Suunto Vertical 2 is a new model that replaces the previous generation. It comes with a larger 1.5″ AMOLED screen and a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. It also combines stainless steel and titanium materials, complete with three buttons for easy quick access even when wearing gloves.
The Suunto Vertical 2 supports over 100 sports modes, training analysis, weather alerts and altitude data including sunrise and sunset times. It also offers health tracking via the Suunto app and over 300 partner services that are suitable for sports and daily lifestyle.
The watch also features a built-in LED flashlight with adjustable brightness, a red light mode for night vision, as well as SOS and safety alerts. It also offers free offline maps that show contour lines, routes and terrain directly on the watch and app. The new Climb Guidance feature also displays altitude, gradient and notifications while climbing.
The Suunto Vertical 2 offers up to 65 hours of battery life in dual-band mode and up to 20 days in smartwatch mode. In Malaysia, it is listed at RM2,999 for the stainless steel variant and RM3,499 for the titanium variant, indicating that the official launch may be coming soon. As of now, both models are still listed as out of stock.
