Mark Zuckerberg said that social media has gone through two eras at the moment. The first was to access content shared by friends and family. The next era is the sharing of content by content publishers. And most recently, through the use of AI-generated content, it has started a whole new era of content sharing.
AI is said to make it easier for users to produce and combine content before sharing it with users. Meta itself has offered the Vibes timeline through Meta AI, allowing users to generate videos using AI, and then share them on the Meta AI timeline.
Moving forward, more AI-generated content is expected to be shown on people's timelines, whether through Facebook or other Meta platforms. This is also seen to ensure that content is continuously produced and published on social media, allowing users to stay connected to the social media.
