Mozilla, through Firefox, gives users the freedom to configure the default search engine for their web browser. Although it comes with the default setting of Google, users can easily change it through the search engine options menu.
Recently, Mozilla has also added another search engine option to their list, namely the artificial intelligence-powered search service, Perplexity. With this step, users who want to use an artificial intelligence-powered search engine can select Perplexity and use it as their default search engine. Mozilla included this option through the latest Firefox update.
In addition, users who are really active in using Perplexity can also download their own web browser, Comet, and use it to surf the web.
