OpenAI today added another portfolio under their umbrella, namely Software Applications Incorporated. The company is the developer behind the yet-to-be-launched app called Sky.
Sky is developed for macOS, allowing users to call it up at any time, and use it to perform a number of checks and tasks along with various other software on macOS computers. OpenAI says that with this acquisition, they will bring comprehensive Sky integration and the advantages of Sky products directly into ChatGPT.
All the development teams will also join OpenAI. For your information, ChatGPT is already offered together through macOS, and if an offering like Sky also comes together, it may make it easier for macOS users to perform a number of tasks quickly and efficiently. However, it is not yet known whether this offering will be approved by Apple or not, since Apple itself has experienced various delays in the development of their next-generation Siri.
