The Powerbeats Fit was launched yesterday with a major design change where the large hook that sits behind the ear is replaced with small “wings”. With this new design, the Powerbeats Fit audio buds are now smaller but can still fit snugly in the ear during exercise.
Each audio bud has spatial audio support, ANC, transparent mode, adaptive EQ and detection when removed from the ear. It also passes the IPX4 sweatproof standard with control buttons on the body.
It operates for up to 7 hours on a single charge and up to 30 hours with the help of a storage pod. Because the audio buds are now smaller, the storage pod is also 17% smaller than the previous version of Powerbeats. Easy tethering is supported on both the Apple and Android ecosystems.
The Powerbeats Fit is sold for RM849 each in Jet Black, Gravel Grey, Pink and Spark Orange. Three pairs of silicone tips are provided with each purchase but a USB-C charging cable is not provided like the new AirPods Pro.
