In addition to showing the Corolla EV concept vehicle, Toyota also took the opportunity at the Japan Mobility Show to show Lexus luxury compact car and self-driving pod for kids.
The Lexus LS Micro Concept is a private vehicle that can carry one passenger in a luxurious atmosphere. Passengers enter the pod with a throne-like seat. The LS Micro will be driven to the desired location automatically. With its small design, it can move in urban areas that ordinary vehicles do not want to pass through.
This is also helped by the three-wheel configuration used. Inside the cabin, the windshield has a touch screen that shows various driving information and cabin controls. Because it is just a concept, there is no information about the battery, travel range and maximum speed.
Next is the Toyota Kids Mobile which is the LS Micro Concept for children. It is small in size with the cabin having a cushion that ensures the comfort of the child passengers. The AI system will take passengers to their destination to school or back home. The UX Friend virtual assistant will offer entertainment to passengers throughout the journey.
Once again, the Toyota Kids Mobile is just a concept with no specifications on travel range or when it will be offered as a mobility vehicle for children in the future.
