WhatsApp is developing a quiz function in channels to make the space more interesting and not just a place to update information. Through this feature, administrators can create quizzes with up to five answer options and only one correct answer will be set.
Although it looks like a poll, it is actually different. Polls are used to collect opinions while quizzes allow administrators to test followers' knowledge of a topic.
Interestingly, if a user chooses the correct answer, a 'confetti' animation will be displayed as a sign of appreciation. In fact, administrators also have the opportunity to reward users who answer correctly (depending on their choice).
To start this function, administrators only need to select the 'Quiz' option in the main dashboard. The interface is almost the same as making a survey but with additions such as a check mark next to each answer to mark the correct answer.
It is understood that participation in this quiz is open to all users who view the broadcast without having to be a channel follower first. This feature is still in the development phase and will be available through future updates.
