Adobe Acquires Semrush to Strengthen Brand Marketing Product Offerings



Adobe today announced that it will acquire Semrush, at a value of up to $1.9 billion.


Semrush is a platform that facilitates web marketing, mainly focusing on SEO, advertising, social media marketing, campaign research, and various other things involving digital marketing. Semrush's product offering also makes it easier for companies to manage and evaluate campaigns across multiple channels.


For Adobe itself, they have enterprise-focused offerings to simplify their marketing management, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, and Adobe Brand Concierge. This acquisition further strengthens Adobe's product offering, in addition to making it easier for companies to ensure that their brands are also marketed through the artificial intelligence-generated platform, in addition to regular web search.


This move also positions Adobe as one of the most advanced marketing platforms for the current era of artificial intelligence.


Adobe targets the completion of this acquisition process in the first half of 2026.
