Sales of the iPhone Air are already said to be low and not as expected before, where it is said that Apple has started to reduce its production. Now, a further report has come stating that Apple may not introduce the iPhone Air 2 in 2026.
According to TheInformation report, Apple will only focus on introducing the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and possibly a foldable iPhone in September 2026. While the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18E are expected to be launched in the first half of 2027.
As for the iPhone Air, its plans are still vague at the moment. Previously, it was said that Apple is targeting a lighter design and higher battery capacity in the upcoming update. Previous reports also stated that the iPhone Air 2 may include dual rear cameras. However, with demand not reaching the target, plans for the series are now being reevaluated.
Previously, Apple has canceled two other iPhone series before the iPhone Air, namely the iPhone Mini and iPhone Plus series. Regardless, it is said that there is a possibility that Apple will still introduce updates for the model by 2027.
