International Airlines Group (IAG) which owns British Airways Aer Lingus, Iberia and Vueling announced that they will start using Starlink internet service for passenger use from next year.
More than 500 aircraft used by IAG will use Starlink as part of a £7 billion transformation plan to rebrand the company. For British Airways (BA) customers, Starlink internet service is available free of charge regardless of ticket class. BA aims to offer a fast internet experience like at home while being 38,000 feet above the ground.
British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia and Vueling now join Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Qatar Airways, airBaltic, United Airlines and Air France who are also using Starlink satellite internet service
