Hollyland has launched the Lyra, their first 4K webcam designed for high-quality recording. The camera combines a CMOS sensor (1/1.5 inch) with the ability to record up to 4K/30fps or 1080p at 60fps. The Lyra uses an f/1.8 lens for better low-light performance and more accurate colors.
The Lyra also includes a built-in wireless microphone receiver that is compatible with the LARK A1 system, allowing for direct audio recording without cables. For standalone use, the Lyra records via an omnidirectional microphone while AI technology reduces background noise to ensure clear voice.
The Lyra can automatically adjust lighting, contrast and exposure with the help of AI, in accordance with the current environmental conditions. In addition, the camera also detects the subject, ensures the subject is positioned correctly in the frame and smooths faces through a beauty mode.
Hollyland also built a green screen algorithm into the Lyra, allowing users to change the background without having to install additional software. For security, the Lyra includes a rotating physical cover that can be closed when the camera is not in use.
The Lyra is available for sale starting at $149 (~RM616).
