Honor Launches AI + Youth Empowerment Society (AYES) to Empower Youth in AI

Honor today launched its latest initiative, the AI+ Youth Empowerment Society (AYES). The initiative is implemented through collaboration with various strategic partners, including the National AI Office (Malaysia), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Central Academy of Fine Arts (China), Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (Singapore) and GSMA (APAC).

The launch was held in conjunction with the Honor AI + Design Summit (APAC Edition) 2025 held at REXKL, Kuala Lumpur. At the same time, the event brought together industry leaders, scholars and innovators to explore the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and design, thus strengthening efforts to shape the future of smart device technology.

The AYES initiative aims to shape a smarter and more sustainable future by developing the potential of the younger generation in the fields of AI and design. Through collaboration with leading institutions in the Asia Pacific region, Honor aims to provide a platform for young talent development so that they can actively contribute to global technological and design innovation.

At the event, Honor also presented the AYES Outstanding Contribution Award to renowned Malaysian designer Joseph Foo, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to youth and creative education in the region.

In addition to serving as a judge for the Honor Talents Global Design Awards for two consecutive years, Foo has also mentored more than 10,000 young creators through various initiatives including workshops, the Honor Global Design Summit, and the Alpha Technology & Art Tour.
