But did you know that they also take great care of their employees, especially those who help develop their imaging technology? This year, the company awarded keycaps made of gold to 21 of their best employees on Programmer’s Day in China on October 24.
For this year, the heaviest gold accessory is a space bar key made of gold with an estimated weight of 35.02g and a value of 230,000 yuan or around RM187,000.
This is Insta360’s way of taking care of their best employees, by giving bonuses in the form of gold accessories. They have been doing this for five years, and it is seen as an effective way of ensuring that the performance and morale of their employees are always in good shape.
In the Chinese tech industry, Insta360 is also known as the “gold mill” because the bonuses and gifts given to employees are in the form of gold during bonus distribution and important company events. During the 10th anniversary, they gave all employees a box of gold containing 0.36 grams of gold, and at the company’s latest year-end celebration, they put up 50 grams of 999 gold as the grand prize.
