Intel today released an official statement saying that its latest generation of laptop processor chips, the Intel Core Ultra 300 “Panther Lake” will be officially launched at the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 5, 2026.
The Intel Core Ultra 300 is the third generation of the Intel Core Ultra processor series and is manufactured using Intel’s latest 18A semiconductor process, returning the processor production to full “in-house” production, after using TSMC for the previous two Intel Core Ultra processors.
During the event, Intel is expected to unveil the full offering of the Intel Core Ultra 300 processor series, which may include several new models under the Intel Core Ultra X name that are expected to power premium and high-performance laptops next year.
It is also expected that laptop makers such as Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, MSI and others will showcase their own Intel Core Ultra 300 laptop offerings. Previously, Acer has already showcased their own offerings through the Acer Swift 16 AI laptop.
