The Malaysian Road Transport Department (JPJ) announced the implementation of a single login method to the MyJPJ application via MyDigital ID. This initiative not only facilitates access but also ensures a safer process for all users.
Starting 1 February 2026, all Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above are required to use MyDigital ID as a digital identity verification method to access the MyJPJ application. With this implementation, the existing password system will be completely replaced, thus ensuring an easier login process.
For users under 18 years of age and MyPR card holders, the existing login method will continue to be maintained. They will still need to use a special link by entering their 12-digit MyPR or MyKAD number along with a password.
JPJ stressed that this initiative not only supports the government's efforts in expanding the use of digital identity but also ensures that the public service system becomes more efficient and user-friendly.
