Philips Malaysia announces the launch of the new Air Series Ab1 air conditioner with two technology options, namely ‘inverter’ and ‘non-inverter’. This series is designed to meet the needs of consumers who value a balance between energy efficiency and consistent cooling performance.
The Air Series Ab1 series comes with four models, namely FAC09CB (1HP), FAC12CB (1.5HP), FAC18CD (2HP) and FAC24CD (2.5HP). Each model offers an energy rating of up to five stars with a cooling capacity ranging from 9,730 to 24,200 BTU/h depending on the option. The indoor unit operates as low as 24db while the outdoor unit is around 49 to 56db, providing a more comfortable environment for users.
This series offers six key features that enhance user comfort. First, Self Clean technology that automatically cleans the interior so that the airflow is always fresh. Second, Turbo Cooling that cools the room in 30 seconds for quick relief. Next, SmartCare QR Hub makes servicing, warranty and troubleshooting easy with one quick access.
In addition, the Multi-Functional Composite Filter filters dust and bacteria to ensure cleaner air. Sleep Mode operates silently while adjusting the temperature for a more comfortable sleep. Finally, the High-Efficiency Full DC Inverter technology specifically for Inverter models provides faster cooling and higher efficiency.
For prices, the Inverter series is offered at a retail price of between RM1,599 to RM3,949 depending on capacity, while the launch promotion price starts from RM1,299 to RM3,449. Meanwhile, the non-inverter series is sold at a retail price of between RM1,499 to RM3,299 with the launch promotion price starting from RM1,199 to RM2,799.
All models come with a three-year general warranty and a ten-year warranty specifically for the compressor. In addition, Philips also provides the option of either delivery only or delivery with installation to make it easier for customers with a clear additional charge.
