Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 8 along with the Galaxy Z Fold8 in mid-2026.
According to source reports, this new generation will feature a thinner and lighter design than the previous model.

This step was taken following the sales of Flip7 which were said to be less encouraging while Fold7 received a significant improvement in terms of design and user response.
Therefore, Samsung is targeting increased sales of Flip8 and Fold8 with a higher number of units than the previous generation.
This new design emphasizes the aspect of minimum thickness in line with the trend of Chinese manufacturers who prioritize thinner foldable phones. At the same time, Samsung is also reportedly ready to accept Apple's entry into the foldable device market.
